Production Blog: Work, Work, and More Work.

Image
Work..      Hello Loves. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get as much done as I would like this weekend. I just so happened to work every day this past weekend. I was unable to make time to meet with my group as a result of this. It can be mentally and physically draining to work all weekend. I just did not have the energy or clarity of mind to work on your assignment after such a hectic schedule. I talked to them about my work schedule and how my weekend obligations may affect the project's deadline. To lessen the project's delays, I was able to suggest fixes or different approaches. This last weekend was quite exhausting in addition to being stressful. My well-being and mental health have been impacted by the stress of handling a demanding workload during the weekend. so it was really exhausting. I did, however, see the importance of being able to balance my many jobs. In addition to studying, but also working, and juggling both at the same time. But now that my extrem

Production Blog: Confusion or Editing?

Image
The tutorial that helped me!      Hello Loves! Welcome back! As I indicated earlier in the day, editing will begin. I made the decision with my group that Zoe, Mia, and I would be the focal points of the music video. Even though Jenna claimed she would handle the most of the editing, we would all still pitch in. We arrived at a decision regarding the distribution of the editing tasks. The rest of us will complete the preliminary edits, while Jenna will handle the final round. When my group and I got together, we discussed how to divide up the editing. I would work on the audio while the others in the group worked on the video. I started by opening Capcut and adding our music video to the application. Make two different tracks in your editing program's timeline: one for audio and one for video. Put the music track in the audio track and the video footage in the video track to organize your content. I then synchronized the music and video by playing them both at once while precisel

Production Blog: Filming Complete!

This is how the beach looked yesterday!      Hello My Loves! What wonderful news to announce. We were able to finish filming yesterday. This is a huge advancement toward the completion of our music video. After school, I had to stay until four o'clock at my house to meet with my group. I then took us to the beach once we had changed and gotten the props. Undoubtedly, one minor inconvenience was the wind; South Florida has experienced really high winds lately. To my amazement, we were able to utilize the wind's advantages for our music video. providing the surroundings and the scenes a lot more personality. I started acting out the scenes with my group. Filming began as soon as we were comfortable with the scenarios themselves. We started by going through the different scenes—I won't give too much away to avoid giving away any plot points of the music video. I did feel a little uncomfortable during the filming process; perhaps I'm simply not used to it. I'm

Production Blog: Finally a New Beginning!

Food to fuel the brain!      Hello Loves! Coming from my last blog you guys would know how I wished we were able to start filming already. However my wish finally came true yesterday. During school yesterday I threw out the idea of my group and I to starting to film. A couple hours later and a couple tacos later, there we were! After disscusing our plan, my group and I started the filming process. For the music video most of the clips are going to need to be recorded by the beach. The group came into an agreement that the beach scenes would be filmed another day due to the weather in Florida these past few days. It has been very cold because of the sudden cold fronts. The group understood this because none of us would enter the water and film in the chilly surroundings. Thus, today would only be used to shoot the indoor sequences. The filming started as soon as everyone returned home. I removed the objects and set up the set for the opening scenes. Thus, we just started with the openi

Production Blog: A Very Long Weekend.

POV: Me at work.      Hello, loves! Welcome to my production blog. I'm eager to update you on the status of the music video project my group and I have been working on. In order for us to start working we need to choose a good day for everyone to come together and begin the production process. But this past weekend showed how difficult that may be. I was unable to shoot because we just received this project this past week. Due to my job schedule and the fact that I was unaware of the initiative, I was unable to take time off. We would all need to pick a day when we could all give the project our full attention in order to effectively launch it. Since both Zoe and I had been working for a while, she was one of my group mates who also experienced this issue. Despite this, we still have plenty of time to complete this; it would simply have been good to begin our filming earlier. The weather last weekend was ideal for our beach music video. So, I'm crossing my fingers that our go

Planning Blog: Preparing For Our Music Video!

Song Title: Stitches by Shawn Mendez  Props: Since our location will be at the beach, we'll need the basic beach essentials. This includes gears such as towels, Backpacks, water bottles, glasses, phones, sunscreen and a floaty. These props will be used to give the usual feel of a trip to the beach with friends. All of these will be carried on hand or on our bodies as we navigate towards the location. Location: Fort Lauderdale Beach is the desired location. If nothing goes wrong of course. If not Lauderdale By the Sea is our second beach beach my group and I will film at. (Hopefully nothing happens) Schedule: Sunset, around 6 Pm. On weekends only since we have school and work schooldays. Going For the sunset will be a lot easier with no sun in our faces. The sunset sky is also a way better background since it's pretty. At this time it normally starts to rain as well which is what we prefer at some part in our music video. Backup Plan: If it starts to storm while filming, my g

My lovely group!           Welcome back loves! Do you feel happy to be back, because I do? This marks the beginning of our second project as a team. My upcoming project will be a music video, which will be more interesting because we were given the option of participating in a group or not. Of course, I choose to work alongside my excellent, diligent companions. I'll be collaborating on this music video with 3 other classmates.  These are the amazing females I'll be working with, as you can see from the photo above. I get to work with fantastic people, which is the biggest factor in my excitement. We are also highly dedicated women, really driven group. We can create some truly fantastic things, I'm confident. Introduction Blog: Music Video Edition!

I am introducing myself here!       Hello, Welcome to my small introduction! In the upcoming academic year, I will be a junior at Fort Lauderdale High School however, I am aiming for early graduation. In order to start attending flight school and earn, I'm attempting to graduate early. My proficiency in that. I've always wished I could fly. I've been around avation since I was young. I'm always drawn to the sky and the romance of flight. My first job, as a host at Outback Steakhouse, has taught me a lot about discipline. It has been a problem for me ever since I was younger. A job gives me the routine and discipline I need in my life. The sense of hard work is comforting. I grew up seeing how hard both of my parents worked. More than anything else, I was constantly aware of my mother doing everything in her power to support us. Which makes me very happy to be able to repay her in any manner, no matter how small. I am my mother's daughter in many ways. Purple is a co
