Production Blog: Confusion or Editing?

The tutorial that helped me!

Hello Loves! Welcome back! As I indicated earlier in the day, editing will begin. I made the decision with my group that Zoe, Mia, and I would be the focal points of the music video. Even though Jenna claimed she would handle the most of the editing, we would all still pitch in. We arrived at a decision regarding the distribution of the editing tasks. The rest of us will complete the preliminary edits, while Jenna will handle the final round. When my group and I got together, we discussed how to divide up the editing. I would work on the audio while the others in the group worked on the video. I started by opening Capcut and adding our music video to the application. Make two different tracks in your editing program's timeline: one for audio and one for video. Put the music track in the audio track and the video footage in the video track to organize your content. I then synchronized the music and video by playing them both at once while precisely positioning the music track in the timeline. Making precise adjustments with the zoom tools. In order to match certain musical sections with comparable scenes in the video, it is necessary in certain scenes to split or chop the music and video footage. This increases the project's overall impact. Finally, I adjust the volume levels of both the additional music and the original video audio to make sure the music can be heard well without drowning out the other sounds. The majority of video editing programs come with features for changing the audio volume. This is merely a rough representation of the finished video. I'll go over every step once more when the clips have been properly edited to ensure that the audio and edited version sync. I'm hoping that everything will be ready enough so that it can all be assembled. Anyways, I'll see you guys in the next one! Enjoy!

Select an audio file or music track for the auditory element. Ensure it's compatible with your video editing software.
