Reflection Blog: Most Asked Questions!
My dog watching me write this!
Hi, Loves Since my most recent commercial project, many of you have had countless questions. I chose the top three questions, and today I'll respond to them for you guys. In order to thoroughly clarify the questions, I'm only doing three.
What technology did you learn to use?
Personally, I've never worked on anything that required editing of any kind. So it was a completely new process for me to learn the technology involved in editing and producing my own videos. Despite the fact that I was a little intimidated by it, the process was very enjoyable. I was puzzled and perplexed when I first started, but as I continued, I truly started to like myself. Once I figured it out, it truly opened up a whole new world for me. I definitely started to get the feel of it. I had no idea one software could accomplish all of that. It wasn't difficult at all for me to learn how to edit; obviously, what I accomplished was extremely simple compared to some, but it was still a great learning experience.
What did you learn about the process of putting a project together?
The main lesson I took away from it was how much of it was self-paced and self-thought. Since this was my first time doing a project of this kind, I had to make sure I finished everything on time, which wasn't an issue. I was rather anxious because it was self-paced and this was my first time working on something similar. But once I understood how I functioned, I was able to solve these problems. However, I also gained a ton of know ledge about editing and working on projects like this. Which makes me feel a whole lot better equipped for the next time. I've just had a lot to learn, but in the best manner imaginable, I feel prepared for what lies ahead.
What do you think you can do to make the next project better?
I'll be able to apply what I've learned to my upcoming projects. Make sure the project's goals are clear and in line with those of the organization. Team members can better comprehend the goal of the project and what is expected of them when there are clear objectives. Make a thorough project plan with timetables, goals, and resource allocation. Early risk and bottleneck identification is made easier with good planning. Determine potential risks and create mitigation plans. Project delays and disruptions can be avoided by having a plan in place to handle unforeseen difficulties. Project success may be hampered by a lack of resources. By routinely assessing and evaluating project performance, promote a culture of continuous improvement. Determine what needs improving and make the appropriate modifications.
