Final Task: My Pitch

Hello loves, welcome to my pitch blog!

Pitch A:

In a small town, Lucas, a pilot, struggles with the loss of his wife, Sarah, who tragically died in a diving accident. Lucas becomes fixated on finishing Sarah's last project—an ambitious journey of traveling the world.

Pitch B:

When two people, Alex, a workaholic event planner, and Maya, a free-spirited artist, keep crossing paths in the hustle and bustle of New York City, fate seems to be nudging them together.

Discuss Pitch A:

Consumed by grief, he isolates himself from friends and the journey they once shared. Seeking closure, Lucas delves into Sarah's belongings and unearths a concealed journal that reveals her aspirations, anxieties, and dreams. He challenges everything he believed to be true about Sarah as he reads through her notes and discovers shocking details about her past and their relationship. A young girl named Lily unexpectedly becomes a friend of Lucas, who is troubled by flashbacks and struggling with the guilt of not being able to save Sarah. Lily reminds Lucas of Sarah's love of the sea. Lucas starts to heal and gains the courage to face his own inner problems thanks to Lily's innocence.

Discuss Pitch B:

A free-spirited artist named Maya and a hardworking event manager named Alex keep running into each other in the busy streets of New York City, and it appears as though fate is pulling them together. But there's a catch: they hate one another. When a mutual friend hires Alex to take Maya to a rural wedding, everything changes. Trapped by mechanical issues, they take an impromptu road trip. Together by force, their arguments become humor as they find common ground between mistakes and adventures. Will they be able to put aside their disagreements and acknowledge the tension that has been building between them all along when they eventually arrive at their destination, though?

My final decision: I came to the conclusion to use pitch A. As I do not live in New York City and it might be hard to recreate that environment.
