  • Historical Setting and clothing: The film's depiction of the Civil War era, complete with period-appropriate settings, clothing, and social mores, perfectly depicts the historical context.
  • Emphasis on connections and Social Norms: A recurring subject is the importance of connections, especially those inside the family, and the expectations society has of women. It examines the limitations and difficulties that women in that time period endured, which is a major theme in many historical dramas.


Elements (Conventions) of the Drama Genre in "Little Women" that I Liked:

  • Pacing: If you're used to faster-paced storylines, you might find the movie's pacing slow for certain viewers. Those looking for more action or plot-driven stories may find the emphasis on character development and emotional arcs to be tedious.
  • Predictability: Because this is a well-known tale that has been adapted many times, some viewers who have seen the original work or comparable historical dramas may find the plot to be too obvious. For some listeners, this predictability may take away from the element of surprise or suspense.

Planning Blog: Preparing For Our Music Video!

Song Title: Stitches by Shawn Mendez  Props: Since our location will be at the beach, we'll need the basic beach essentials. This includes gears such as towels, Backpacks, water bottles, glasses, phones, sunscreen and a floaty. These props will be used to give the usual feel of a trip to the beach with friends. All of these will be carried on hand or on our bodies as we navigate towards the location. Location: Fort Lauderdale Beach is the desired location. If nothing goes wrong of course. If not Lauderdale By the Sea is our second beach beach my group and I will film at. (Hopefully nothing happens) Schedule: Sunset, around 6 Pm. On weekends only since we have school and work schooldays. Going For the sunset will be a lot easier with no sun in our faces. The sunset sky is also a way better background since it's pretty. Production Blog: Editing!

Watching tutorials! Hi there, lovelies! I began working on the joint editing of all my scenes today. Since I completed my most recent project, I have not edited anything. To renew myself, I thought it would be best to watch a few videos on YouTube. Consequently, I watched films for about thirty minutes. After finishing that, I launched Capcut. My preferred editing software is Capcut. since it's free and I feel totally at ease using it. I spent around five hours editing in all. This is also a result of my tendency to be choosy. So I was finally done once it was as I wanted it. That editing was really striking. It felt so good to be on board. I went so far as to treat myself. I napped after making tacos. But I watched my Final Task again when I woke up. As it happens, the slumber inspired me to edit more. I spent an additional two hours editing, but I'm now satisfied with the outcome.
